About VERUM / how we choose what to stock
Who we are
VERUM is a skincare shop in Malé, built to bring the best of Korean and Western formulation to the Maldives without the guesswork.
We do not manufacture anything. We curate: twenty-seven products across twenty-one brands, chosen one formula at a time, because the ingredients hold up rather than because something is trending on a feed. Korean innovation and Western pharmacy standards sit on the same shelf, and we will happily tell you when the cheaper one is the better buy.
How we choose is the part we are strict about. We read the formula before we agree to stock anything, and we publish the same breakdown we used to make that call: what is inside, at what concentration, and what it is meant to do. Where a brand publishes a figure, we repeat it. Where it publishes nothing, we say so rather than fill the gap with a guess. We buy our stock outright and take no placement fees, so no brand has bought its way onto this shelf.
Based in Malé, delivering across the Maldives, for people who want their skincare routine to be a decision rather than an impulse buy.
